Customize the neetoChat to reflect your brand. You can re-brand the neetoChat to reflect your business theme, so that it looks completely at home on your website or product.
Follow the steps to open customize:
- Login using your admin account.
- Go to
Chat -> Customize
. -
In the Design tab we can find the following options:

Primary colour:
- you can change the Primary colour here, based on the set primary colour the font accent will be changed from dark to light.

Button Type: we have the option to select any one of the 4 button types in the minimized view of neetoChat:
- icon only - we can select any one of the 4 predefined icons.
- text only - we can add a custom text.
- icon & text - we can select any one of the 4 predefined icons along with an option to add text.
- custom icon - here you can upload your business logo. The maximum size of the uploaded file must be 100kb.

Advanced options:
- Horizontal Position: you can select the neetoChat to appear left or right bottom corner on your website.
- Z-Index: The z-index property specifies the stack order of a neetoChat, so by providing a higher value neetoChat will appear on top of the view stack.

In the Options tab we can find the following options::

Home screen:
- Title: Introduce your neetoChat to your customers with a friendly title. They'll see the home screen when they first open Messenger.
- Sub-title: We can optionally add some extra text under the home screen title.
- Button text: We can set custom text for the start conversation button.

Response message:
- This message will be the first response shown to the visitor after the chat is initiated by either sending a new message or filling the pre-chat form.
- We have either select one option from the 4 preset messages or we can add a custom message by selecting the
Custom Message
option

Enable chat only mode:
- In chat only mode the neetoChat will have the documents tab hidden & visitors will not be able to create tickets.
- Enabling the chat the only mode is advisable if you prefer direct chat support to getting self help from docs or contacting via email.

Enable hidden mode:
- Enabling this mode will make neetoChat invisible, you can still open it via JavaScript code using the NeetoChat.contextualHelp.openWidget() API.

Send chat notification, when not active:
- Enabling this will make neetoChat forward the unread messages to the assigned agent if the agent is away or to the email specified in the
email
field in case no agent was assigned to the conversation; after the delay time specified in theWait time in minutes
field.

Home screen:
We get to see the preview of the neetoChat on the customize screen at the bottom corner by default, with the latest modified changes. If the neetoChat preview is minimized we can maximize it by clicking the minimized icon.
